The CII009 National Geographic 76mm AZ Reflector w/Full-size Tripod s state-of-the-art features smooth movement and powerful magnification make it ideal for capturing breathtaking views of the heavens. This reflector telescope features a 76mm- (3-inch) diameter mirror and a 700mm focal length which allow for detailed astronomical views. For added viewing dimension and accuracy this telescope includes a 5x24 finder scope three 1.25-inch-diameter American standard professional-sized eyepieces (4mm H12.5mm and H20mm) and a 3x Barlow lens for a power range of 35x to 525x. The sturdy altazimuth mount moves easily in any direction and features a vertical slow-motion control and lock for optimum control. An included 1.5x Image Erector provides a more comfortable viewing angle when viewing terrestrial images. The sturdy tripod is made from extruded closed-channel aluminum. During daylight hours the NG76AZ acts as a super telephoto lens and for nighttime observing it delivers fine images of bright objects like the Moon Jupiter Saturn and the Orion Nebula. Includes a free National Geographic "The Heavens" wall map.
