The Luminator lens uses a yellow tint which enhances contrast in low or flat light. On cloudy days most of the visible light present is from the "blue" or dark end of the spectrum which causes objects to flatten out or blend together. The Luminator blocks some of this blue light which allows the golfer to judge distances and read greens better. This lens allows in 60% (blocks 40%) of visible light.
