Get on target!The A.R.M.S.® flip-up rear sight was designed with brush-hunting or tactical situations in mind. It's a spring-loaded sight that's held in locked-down position by a quick release lever. This prevents it from being accidentally engaged but it's still trigger-quick on the release even when you're wearing heavy mittens.The initial elevation zero is tailored to the standard M16/M4 front-sight bead. When the sight is released the 250- to 300-meter aperture comes up first. For longer ranges just rotate the leaf sight aperture to access the 500- to 600-yard capability with built-in horizon line.Unlike other rear iron fold-down sights that can be accidentally knocked down at the worst time the A.R.M.S. #40 spring loaded flip-up sight will never let you down. It's designed to be there always. Use it when you need it; fold it down when you don't!For lens-cleanliness in the field consider pre-moistened lens towelettes.
